The Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV is the latest vehicle to be tuned by the Japanese auto giant’s Nissan Motorsport (Nismo) high-performance division, and was unveiled today at the Tokyo Auto Salon motor show. Changes under the skin, including dual electric motors, sportier styling, stiffer, lower suspension, retuned electronics and lighter wheels deliver more power and deliver a sharper driving experience.
There are two versions available with dual-motor all-wheel drive:
Outputs are 205kW/560Nm and 290kW/600Nm for the standard model, with the battery pack unchanged. The curb weight of the Nismo versions is 2080 kg and 2210-2220 kg respectively.
The local launch date for the regular Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV has not yet been announced.

Mechanical changes include lighter 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 255/45 R20 Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires, stiffer springs and dampers, and retuned stability control calibrations.
Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV includes unique synthesized driving sounds “reminiscent of Formula E racing” and a Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV drive mode for “maximum response.” What sets the Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV apart from the standard model on the road are new front and rear bumpers. a larger front splitter, new side skirts, a second rear spoiler on the tailgate (in addition to the roof spoiler) and red pinstripes.

Nissan has planned two grade options for the Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV, B6 and B9, both of which use dual-motor e-Force four-wheel drive settings.
The former is equipped with a standard 66 kWh battery pack with a power output of 362 horses and 57.1 kg-meter. While the latter is upgraded to, The extended-range version has a 91 kWh battery pack, with an output level of 429 maximum horsepower and 61.2 kg-m of peak torque.
At the same time, the Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV chassis settings have also been re-adjusted, and a unique Nismo driving mode has been added.
