2024 Nissan Ariya Nismo Electric SUV Unveiled Price, Spece, Launch Date

Overview

The Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV is the latest vehicle to be tuned by the Japanese auto giant’s Nissan Motorsport (Nismo) high-performance division, and was unveiled today at the Tokyo Auto Salon motor show. Changes under the skin, including dual electric motors, sportier styling, stiffer, lower suspension, retuned electronics and lighter wheels deliver more power and deliver a sharper driving experience.

What’s New for 2024?

There are two versions available with dual-motor all-wheel drive: 

• B6 with 270kW/560Nm and 66 kWh battery
• B9 with 320kW/600Nm and 91 kWh battery.

Outputs are 205kW/560Nm and 290kW/600Nm for the standard model, with the battery pack unchanged. The curb weight of the Nismo versions is 2080 kg and 2210-2220 kg respectively.

The local launch date for the regular Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV has not yet been announced. 

Price

The anticipated pricing for the 2024 Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV is projected to begin at approximately $45,000, with the cost potentially reaching up to $57,000, contingent on the chosen trim level and additional options. This pricing range offers consumers flexibility based on their preferences and desired features. As the Ariya Nismo presents various configurations, potential buyers can carefully consider the available trims and options to align with their budget and preferences.

Prospective buyers are encouraged to explore the different trims and features available, ensuring they select the configuration that best suits their needs and preferences while staying within their budget constraints.

 
Design

Mechanical changes include lighter 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 255/45 R20 Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires, stiffer springs and dampers, and retuned stability control calibrations.

Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV includes unique synthesized driving sounds “reminiscent of Formula E racing” and a Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV drive mode for “maximum response.” What sets the Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV apart from the standard model on the road are new front and rear bumpers. a larger front splitter, new side skirts, a second rear spoiler on the tailgate (in addition to the roof spoiler) and red pinstripes.

Interior

The interior of the car is made of suede interior material, a sports car flat-bottomed steering wheel with a 12 o’clock logo, suede/leather-covered.

Exterior

It has an exclusive gray exterior color with the option of black racing stripes. In terms of appearance, the car has added the Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV sport s package.

The front face is designed with a black decorati ve panel and silver is added. A trapezoidal surround is add ed to the bottom, and red lines are added to the bottom. The front face also looks very delicate.

Colors

It is reported that the car will be available in six colors: pris m white, dark metallic gray, midnight black, and two-tone prism white, deep ocean blue, and stealth gray. It is also eq uipped with 20-inch wheels, and the overall side looks very delicate. A double spoiler is designed at the rear, and a black diffuser is used at the bottom.

Performance

Nissan has planned two grade options for the Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV, B6 and B9, both of which use dual-motor e-Force four-wheel drive settings.

The former is equipped with a standard 66 kWh battery pack with a power output of 362 horses and 57.1 kg-meter. While the latter is upgraded to, The extended-range version has a 91 kWh battery pack, with an output level of 429 maximum horsepower and 61.2 kg-m of peak torque.

Driver-Assistance Features

At the same time, the Nissan Ariya Nismo electric SUV chassis settings have also been re-adjusted, and a unique Nismo driving mode has been added.
