Lucid Air Grand Touring 2023 Luxury Sedan Review, Pricing, and Specs

Overview.

The 2023 Lucid Air Grand Touring luxury sedan represents one of the few EVs that have so far had a significant impact, despite the fact that several entrepreneurs have launched EVs in an effort to disrupt the transportation business. Thanks to its huge battery and tiny motors, both of which were created internally, it can provide greater range and excellent performance.

The Grand Touring Performance model’s estimated driving range is 516 miles (ca. 830 kilometers), and it has a 0 to 60 mph (ca. 97 kilometers per hour) acceleration time of under 2.6 seconds. With electrons left over, that’s enough range to travel from Boston to Baltimore. The new Sapphire variant is considerably faster, with a stated time to reach 60 mph (ca. 97 kilometers per hour) of less than 2.0 seconds.

The Air has a clean appearance and a spacious cabin, but considering its price, we had anticipated a more lavish interior. As a tribute to Lucid’s Silicon Valley roots, the early cars’ software interface is still under improvement, and practically all of the controls are reachable through one of the multiple display panels that are dispersed throughout the cabin.

The Stealth Look appearance package has been introduced by Lucid to the Air’s 2023 options list. With the $6000 package, the 20- or 21-inch high-polish wheels of the Air are swapped out for dark grey ones, and the external brightwork is also changed. All trims, excluding the base Pure trim, can have a blacked-out appearance. A new Sapphire performance model is now available, featuring a more potent three-motor system that is said to produce over 1200 horsepower.

Lucid Air Grand Touring price.

Lucid Air Grand Touring expected price is $89,050 to $250,000 (EST). We would lean toward the Touring design. It has several appealing features and is considerably less expensive than the Grand Touring model. The Touring is equipped with 20-inch wheels, leather seating, in-dash navigation, and an estimated 425 miles (683.97 kilometers) of range per charge. Three years of free Electrify America charging are included with every Lucid model as standard. The most expensive Dream Edition cars are currently sold out, but the Grand Touring trim has a lot of the Dream’s styles for less money if you want to optimize your luxury.

Lucid Air Grand Touring, Release date.

Your Grand Touring will probably go into production and be delivered in Q1 of 2023 if you have a reservation for the Lucid Air Grand Touring made after August 10 and want to order it with the new Stealth Look package.
