Kia Motors recently released a new pure electric sedan concept car-2026 Kia EV4. This car is the third model in Kia’s EV series after the EV6 and EV9, and it is also the first electric car as a sedan. The 2026 Kia EV4 concept car demonstrates Kia’s vision and innovation for future pure electric cars. It combines fashion, personality, and bold design style with efficient, environmentally friendly, and intelligent technologies to create an electric car with strong recognition and appeal. Car.
The 2026 Kia EV4 currently only exists in concept form, however, we think it could join existing EVs in Kia’s lineup.
Prices for the 2026 Kia EV4 are expected to start around $39,000 and go up to $52,000 depending on trim and options.
The exterior design of the 2026 Kia EV4 concept car follows Kia’s “Unity of Opposites” design concept, using exaggerated geometric lines and a technologically rich body shape to create a smooth, dynamic and avant-garde body outline. The front face adopts Kia’s iconic “digital tiger roar” design, which integrates the grille and the headlight group.
The vertical light strips on both sides are very recognizable when lit. The side lines are tough, and the combination of the large panoramic canopy on the roof and the rear windshield makes the whole vehicle look extremely transparent. The tail has a simple shape, with the vertical taillights echoing the headlights, and the thick silver guard at the bottom enhances its sporty attributes. It is worth mentioning that the Kia EV4 concept car adopts a double-door design, which increases entry and exit space and convenience.
The interior design of the 2026 Kia EV4 concept car is also simple, smooth and spacious, and incorporates stylish design elements. The center console only has two configurations: a polygonal double-spoke steering wheel and a through-type central control screen. The central control screen integrates instrument panel, navigation, entertainment and other functions, making it simple and convenient to operate. The air-conditioning control panel can be neatly stored in the center console when not in use, and uses a contact-style air outlet that can flexibly change the shape of the air outlet.
The cockpit adopts a five-seater layout, and the rear seats are designed in the style of a sofa to highlight the comfortable atmosphere of home, and pillows are added to make it look as relaxing and comfortable as home. The seats are made of environmentally friendly materials and are equipped with mini tables that can be adjusted in length, position and angle, and support four modes to enhance user experience – Focus, Social, Refreshing and Storage.
The 2026 Kia EV4 concept car is equipped with Kia’s innovative car interconnection system “Kia Connect”, which supports rich functions such as finding the location of electric vehicle charging stations and charging prices. The system also comes with an AI chatbot that helps users resolve issues and provides quick responses.
In addition, the “E-routing” function can recommend the best route based on the vehicle’s current battery status and charging station information. The Kia App home screen will also display location-based information such as nearby restaurants to improve user experience. Users can use the “Handle Layer” function in the Kia App to conveniently manage charging ports on the home screen and monitor charging status in real time.
Kia has not revealed any information about the Powertrain it plans to use for the 2026 Kia EV4. However, it’s likely that several different models will be launched, possibly including single- and dual-motor models, as well as standard range and long-range range models. A uniquely styled GT-Line model and a performance-enhanced GT model may also be launched.
Kia also didn’t reveal many details about the 2026 Kia EV4’s charging speed and cruising range. We also don’t know many details about the 2026 Kia EV4, which makes speculation even more difficult. Both EV6 and EV9 use an 800-volt architecture, allowing the vehicles to achieve ultra-fast 350-kilowatt charging speeds. However, the EV5 will use a 400-volt architecture, so it won’t be able to achieve the same speeds. If Kia does reserve these fast charging speeds for more expensive models, the EV4 will probably only use a 400-volt architecture, which will limit charging speeds.
